The other thing computer languages can do concerns the indexing of images. This is familiar in the concept of the database, but here I am thinking of the World Wide Web Consortium's (1999) Extenisble Mark up Language(XML). Keyword connections of images, and (to be agreed) universal search classification terms will allow potential access to all of the disparate and disconnected image databases of the free world.
