Some time today I thought to myself that if I used film again, it would only be for sentimental purpopses. I am not making this a caveat for a practice, but the fact that Ii thought it marks a point of departure.

On-screen viewing is actually low resolution viewing, 72 pixels per inch, the eye can not resolve any finer detail. The "phtograph" a silver based emulsion on a paper support, had the same viewing limitation.
