The art of the collagist finds it's ultimate form with television. The contents of a programme, an advert or a newscast using or repurposing assemblages of typography, line drawing, photography, graphics, video and live broadcast with stereo audio, this is multi media.

The current hi fidelity television also offers close to a cinematic experience, but already we can see a future of large thin flat screens affixed to the wall, offering a view as in a window or a painting. The future of a room with a view flipping between St Mark's Square and the car park.
