Camera arrives in the am. post just as I am off for a meeting, i read the manual in 5 minutes and we go. A perfect day with blue sky and only occasional wisps of stratus. Waiting for a rendezvous i make pictures of the Town Hall clock, using maximum zoom and feeling "these are not going to be very good" . The results are in fact quite amazing. There has been much comparison between the differing qualities of film and digital pictures but the sheer ease of picture making and viewing is breathtaking. This little box just sucks up the world with more than adequate resolution, the perfect instrument for making digital illuminated manuscripts.
