Still waiting on a digital camera from Amazon, they said 24hrs, it's been 4 days. The instaneous quality of the digital camera underpinned the project, my poor planning, no impatience. OK turn adversity into positive action trend. the pattern of type thru -90 degrees. The scanner occupied me a while back, making pictures of tulips and other flowers by placing them directly on the glass platten with a black cloth to keep out extraneus light. The results were amazing in terms of detail, but composition was difficult given the reverse nature of the arrangement. More interesting was the idea of the scanner as just another camera, turn it upside down, place it on top of an arrangement of flowers for example, or hold it against a wall of rich patina ? Tethered to the laptop I could go into the park - hahh no mains power. Just buy a Coolpix Peter, it's on it's way.
